DR. RICHARD BAUM
Dr. Richard Baum is Chief of the Division of Angiography and Interventional Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and head of the vein care center. In Boston and the surrounding medical community, Richard Baum is a leading vein specialist, with unsurpassed expertise in vein treatment and other interventional procedures. A graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Dr. Baum is board-certified in both Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. Like all Brigham and Women’s Hospital physicians, he is a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty who brings his expertise as a Boston vein doctor to future generations of physicians.
DR. CHIEH-MIN FAN
Dr. Chieh-Min Fan serves as the Associate Director of the Division of Angiography and Interventional Radiology at the Brigham. She was educated at the Yale University School of Medicine and did her residency and fellowship, both in Radiology, at Massachusetts General Hospital. Chieh-Min Fan is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology as well as Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and lists vascular malformations, varicose veins and venous insufficiency as particular areas of clinic interest. Dr. Fan is a leading Boston vein doctor, nationally recognized for her work in the area. She has served as an expert witness in matters surrounding EVLT and other vein treatments.
DR. SUSAN O'HORO
Dr. Susan O’Horo is a graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Susan O’Horo did a residency in Radiology and a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular surgery, both at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. O’Horo holds board certifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. O’Horo’s clinical interests include peripheral vascular disease, varicose vein therapy, uterine fibroid embolization and chemoembolization.
DR. MATTHEW SCHENKER
Dr. Matthew Schenker is an instructor of radiology at Harvard Medical School as well as a practicing vein doctor. Matthew Schenker graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. His clinical work at Brigham and Women’s Hospital began with a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and continued with a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Schenker is board-certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His areas of special interest related to vein treatment include peripheral artery disease (PAD), chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins.
DR. MICHAEL STECKER
Dr. Michael Stecker received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He did his internship in General Surgery and a residency in Diagnostic Radiology. Michael Stecker then did a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Stecker holds board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His clinical interests include venous thromboembolic disease, varicose vein disease, uterine fibroid embolization, peripheral vascular disease, biliary and urinary tract interventions, and radiation and patient safety.
