Fraxel® Laser Facial and Body Skin Resurfacing
Fraxel® is the only fractional non-ablative resurfacing treatment with proven clinical efficacy. Fraxel is an effective non-surgical treatment for wrinkle, scar and stretchmark reduction and skin rejuvenation. Dr. Kwak is the Philadelphia region's most experienced provider of Fraxel treatments and teaches other physicians the technique on behalf of the company. Intensed Pulsed Light Therapy (Photo Genesis)
IPL/Photo Genesis is a quick way to safely and comfortably improve skin texture, tone and color. It can be used on your face, chest, arms and hands to help reduce signs of sun damage leaving clearer, younger looking skin.
LaserGenesis Photorejuvenation
Skin therapy with Laser Genesis skin therapy is a unique way to promote vibrant and healthy looking skin. It uses a non-surgical YAG laser to provide rejuvenation of the skin, reducing the effects of age and sun damage. The laser therapy gently warms the skin (most patients enjoy it) and the procedure has no downtime.
BOTOX® COSMETIC
BOTOX® COSMETIC injections are effective in minimizing forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crow's feet, and even excessive underarm sweating. BOTOX® COSMETIC can smooth moderate to severe wrinkles for up to 4 months, providing a more youthful, rested appearance.
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM™ and Radiesse®)
Dermal fillers can help reduce facial lines and folds with a non-surgical treatment involving a naturally occurring substance. JUVÉDERM™ is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid that can smooth wrinkles for 4-12 months. Radiesse® provides volume enhancement but also stimulates the body to produce new collagen.
CoolGlide Laser Hair Removal
The CoolGlide Laser Hair Removal System uses a 1064nm ND:YAG laser to treat both fine and coarse hair. The CoolGlide is effective in achieving hair removal on all parts of the body including legs, arm, face, back and in sensitive areas like the bikini line or chest.
Microdermabrasion and Vibraderm treatment
Vibradermabrasion and Vibrafusion can, after just one treatment, provide soft and smooth skin, with significant tone and texture improvements. They have been shown to stimulate collagen growth after just 3 treatments. Vibraderm treatments may be used to prepare your skin for laser treatments, chemical peels, and more. They are quite popular as preparation for a special event, as they leave your skin radiant and glowing.

FAT REDUCTION PROCEDURES
When sensible dieting and exercise are not enough to eliminate fat from 'problem' areas, we offer a couple of technologies that allow gentle fat removal with associated skin tightening over the treated area:
- SmartLIPO® Laser Liposuction
- VASER® Lipo
While traditional liposuction is still the best option for people who are extremely overweight, the above options offer an excellent alternative for those only mildly or moderately overweight. SmartLipo use laser energy to melt away (or liquefy) fat and VASER does a similar thing through the use of ultrasound. Both create a mild amount of heat during the process that causes the overlaid skin to tighten, avoiding the "saggy" or "loose" skin that is common with traditional liposuction. These procedures are minimally-invasive and patients often return to work after a weekend. Improvement will continue to be seen over a period of 3 to 6 months. These technologies are an excellent option to eliminate "love handles" or "jowls" or to achieve more sculpted abs.
