It is also a good idea to inquire about the need for a  referral and co-pay amounts.

Most insurance companies will pick up the tab for varicose vein treatments if the veins are causing health related issues and are not just a cosmetic nuisance. You can find out from your doctor during your consultation if your varicose veins are causing health issues or not. Typically you would know if your varicose veins are causing health issues based on if you suffer from any pain or discomfort originating from the veins.
